DoverPhila celebrated its 70th anniversary with a Kindness Campaign that encouraged giving back to the Tuscarawas County community.
The Kindness Campaign kicked off in August 2023 with food trucks at all full-service locations. The campaign continued with volunteerism, giveaways, supply drives, sponsorships, donations, and more to show gratitude for the community’s support of DoverPhila Federal Credit Union over the last 70 years.
The credit union’s workforce of around 100 employees supported over 60 area organizations during the campaign including Dover-New Philadelphia Food Pantry, Tuscarawas County Fair, United Way of Tuscarawas County, East Central Ohio Educational Service Center, Salvation Army, Blessings in a Backpack, TUFF Bags, Tuscarawas County Humane Society, Tuscarawas County Pound, Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County, various local businesses, and dozens of community and county libraries, schools, nursing homes, and senior centers.
The Kindness Campaign concluded in December 2023 with employees wrapping gifts for the holiday season at New Towne Mall located in New Philadelphia.
